Plainly: this site collects what you type into the request form, emails it to Santa Chris so he can answer you, and does nothing else with it.

What is collected

Only what you enter into the request form: your name, organisation or family name, email address, mobile telephone number, and the details of the event you describe — date, time, length, address, city, setting, attendance, ages, access instructions and any special requests.

Nothing is collected from you simply for reading the site.

What it is used for

Your request is emailed directly to Santa Chris so that he can reply to you and prepare for your event. That is the only purpose.

Your information is never sold, rented, traded or given to anyone for marketing. You will not be added to a mailing list.

Where it is kept

Requests are not saved into a database on this website. They are delivered as email and then live in Santa Chris’s own mailbox, like any other message he receives.

To stop automated spam, the site briefly records a one-way hash of the sending connection along with submission times. That record contains no personal information, cannot be reversed to an address, and is discarded after one hour.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and to keep the site fast. Fonts and images are served from this site itself rather than from a third party.

Who else handles it

Two services are involved in getting your message delivered: the web host that runs this site, and the email relay that carries the message to Santa Chris. Neither uses your information for its own purposes.

Children

The request form is intended to be completed by an adult. Please do not have a child submit it. Details you give about children — names, ages, interests — are used only to prepare for the visit and are not kept beyond it.

Security

The whole site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit.

Asking for your information to be removed

Email [email protected] or telephone (781) 718-4995 and ask. Santa Chris will delete your request from his mailbox and confirm that he has.
