Everything agreed before you commit
Santa Chris publishes his rates rather than quoting them on request. Nothing is booked until your complete price is confirmed.
The rate
Appearances start at $300 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Rates may vary for peak holiday dates, Christmas Eve and customized events.
Travel
Travel fees apply based on distance from Santa Chris’s North Shore base, and parking and tolls are added when applicable.

Confirming your price
Your complete price — the appearance, the travel fee and anything else that applies — will always be confirmed with you before booking. There are no charges you have not been told about first.
The season
Santa Chris appears from the Friday after Thanksgiving through December 28, primarily during evenings and weekends. Weekday daytime visits and other arrangements may be available upon request. Christmas in July and personalized video greetings are arranged outside that window.
What he needs from you
Before the visit: names and how to pronounce them, ages, interests, family traditions, any gifts you would like him to hand out, parking and building access, and anything that would help a guest feel comfortable.
Above all, tell him if a child is shy, sensitive or afraid — in advance or quietly at the event.
Comfort policy
No child is ever required to sit on Santa’s lap or pose for a photograph. Santa Chris follows the parent’s lead, keeps a comfortable distance and lets a child approach when they are ready.
Documentation
CORI verification and a certificate of insurance are available upon request — tick the box on the request form and they will come with his reply. The CORI report itself is not published publicly.
